Isovue-250 is a radiopaque (RAY dee oh payk) contrast agent. This medicine contains iodine, a substance that absorbs x-rays. Radiopaque contrast agents are used to allow blood vessels, organs, and other non-bony tissues to be seen more clearly on a CT scan or other radiologic (x-ray) examination.

Isovue-250 is used to help diagnose certain disorders of the heart, brain, blood vessels, and nervous system.

Levonorgestrel is a female hormone that can cause changes in your cervix, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus. Kyleena is a plastic device that is placed in the uterus where it slowly releases the hormone to prevent pregnancy for up to 5 years.

Kyleena is used to prevent pregnancy for up to 5 years. You may use this device whether you have children or not. Mirena is also used to treat heavy menstrual bleeding in women who choose to use an intrauterine form of birth control.

Levonorgestrel is a progestin hormone and does not contain estrogen. The intrauterine device (IUD) releases levonorgestrel in the uterus, but only small amounts of the hormone reach the bloodstream. Kyleena should not be used as emergency birth control.
