Potassium is a mineral that is found in many foods and is needed for several functions of your body, especially the beating of your heart.

K-Lyte/Cl is used to prevent or to treat low blood levels of potassium (hypokalemia). Potassium levels can be low as a result of a disease or from taking certain medicines, or after a prolonged illness with diarrhea or vomiting.

K-Lyte/Cl may also be used for other purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

Zutripro Oral Solution contains a combination of chlorpheniramine, hydrocodone, and pseudoephedrine. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Hydrocodone is a narcotic cough suppressant. It affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages. Dilated blood vessels can cause nasal congestion (stuffy nose).

Zutripro is used to treat runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, cough, and sinus congestion caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.

Zutripro will not treat a cough that is caused by smoking, asthma, or emphysema.
