Khapzory Injection and Phenergan Suppositories

Khapzory is used to treat or prevent toxic effects of methotrexate in people who have received methotrexate to treat bone cancer.

Khapzory is also used to treat or prevent toxic effects of methotrexate in people whose bodies do not eliminate methotrexate properly after the drug is metabolized. This medicine may also be used to treat toxic effects of an overdose or methotrexate or certain other medications.

Khapzory is also used in combination chemotherapy with fluorouracil to treat colorectal cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. This medicine treats only the symptoms of colorectal cancer but does not treat the cancer itself.

Khapzory should not be used to treat anemia that is caused by a lack of vitamin B12.

Phenergan (promethazine) belongs to a group of drugs called phenothiazines. It works by changing the actions of chemicals in your brain. Promethazine also acts as an antihistamine. It blocks the effects of the naturally occurring chemical histamine in your body.

Phenergan is used to treat allergy symptoms such as itching, runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, hives, and itchy skin rashes.

Phenergan also prevents motion sickness, and treats nausea and vomiting or pain after surgery. It is also used as a sedative or sleep aid.

Phenergan is not for use in treating symptoms of asthma, pneumonia, or other lower respiratory tract infections.
