Kovaltry is a naturally occurring protein in the blood that helps blood to clot. A lack of antihemophilic factor VIII is the cause of hemophilia A. Recombinant this medicine works by temporarily raising levels of factor VIII in the blood to aid in clotting.

Recombinant Kovaltry is used to treat or prevent bleeding episodes in adults and children with hemophilia A. It is also used to control bleeding related to surgery or dentistry in a person with hemophilia, and to prevent joint damage in people age 16 or older with severe hemophilia A and no prior joint damage.

Recombinant Kovaltry is not for use in people with von Willebrand disease.

MS Contin (morphine) is an opioid medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic.

MS Contin extended-release tablets are used to treat moderate to severe pain.

MS Contin extended-release is for around-the-clock treatment of pain when other pain treatments, such as non-opioid pain medicines or immediate-release opioid medicines, do not treat the pain well enough or cannot be tolerated.

MS Contin is not for use on an as-needed basis for pain.
