Lefamulin acetate is a pleuromutilin antibacterial indicated in adults for the treatment of community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP) caused by susceptible microorganisms.

To reduce the development of drug resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of lefamulin acetate and other antibacterial drugs, lefamulin acetate should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.

Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is an antidepressant belonging to a group of drugs called selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). Desvenlafaxine affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with depression.
