Leuprolide injection and norethindrone tablets are used together to treat pain caused by endometriosis. This combination is also used to prevent the symptoms of endometriosis from occurring again. Leuprolide and norethindrone should be used no longer than 12 months.

Leuprolide injection is a synthetic (man-made) hormone that is similar to a natural hormone that is produced in the brain. It decreases the amount of estrogen in the body and helps treat endometriosis. Norethindrone is a synthetic (man-made) progestin hormone that is used to treat thinning of the bones caused by leuprolide.

Leuprolide and norethindrone is available only with your doctor's prescription.

Methazolamide reduces the activity of a protein in your body called carbonic anhydrase. Blocking this protein can help reduce the amount of fluid in the eye, which decreases pressure inside the eye.

Methazolamide is used to lower pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure) in people with certain types of glaucoma.

Methazolamide is also used as a diuretic ("water pill") in people with congestive heart failure, to reduce the build-up of fluid in the body. This build-up is called edema.

Methazolamide is also used to treat certain types of seizures, and to treat or prevent altitude sickness.
