Lortab contains a combination of acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic. Acetaminophen, also called Tylenol, is a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of hydrocodone.

Lortab is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.

PosiFlush is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) that prevents the formation of blood clots.

PosiFlush is used to flush (clean out) an intravenous (IV) catheter, which helps prevent blockage in the tube after you have received an IV infusion.

PosiFlush should not be used to treat or prevent blood clots in the body. A separate this medicine product is available to use for this purpose.
