Medicinal products with known phototoxic or photoallergic potential include fluoroquinolones, phenothiazines, retinoids, sulfonamides, sulfonylureas, tetracyclines, thiazide diuretics, griseofulvin, and hypericin extracts (e.g., St John's Wort).
