Metreleptin injection is used together with a proper diet as replacement therapy to treat problems caused by leptin deficiency in patients with congenital or acquired generalized lipodystrophy.

Metreleptin is only available under a restricted distribution program called Myalept™ REMS program.

Tetrahydrozoline is a vasoconstrictor. It works by narrowing swollen blood vessels in the eyes to reduce eye redness.
