Estradiol is a form of estrogen, a female sex hormone produced by the ovaries. Estrogen is necessary for many processes in the body.

Minivelle skin patches are used to treat certain symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, and vaginal dryness, burning, and irritation. Minivelle is also used to prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis, or to treat ovarian disorders.

TNKase is a thrombolytic (THROM-bo-LIT-ik) drug, sometimes called a "clot-busting" drug. It helps your body produce a substance that dissolves unwanted blood clots.

TNKase is used to prevent death in people who have had a heart attack (acute myocardial infarction).
