Consumer:

Using mivacurium together with lidocaine can prolong the effects of mivacurium. You should be closely monitored for prolong breathing cessation and respiratory paralysis after use of lidocaine. You may need a dose adjustment or special test if you use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

MANAGEMENT: Patients should be closely monitored for increased and/or prolonged neuromuscular blockade and apnea during and after concomitant therapy.
