Consumer:Using cloNIDine together with levodopa can decrease the effects of levodopa. Professional:MONITOR: Limited data suggest that clonidine may decrease the effectiveness of levodopa and piribedil by an unknown mechanism.
MANAGEMENT: During coadministration, the patient should be monitored for signs of increased rigidity and akinesia.
