MONITOR: The pharmacologic effects of lidocaine and disopyramide may be additive. The risk of depressed myocardial conduction and contractility may be increased. QT interval prolongation and excessive QRS complex widening may occur with this combination. The risk of arrhythmias, including ventricular tachycardia, fibrillation, and torsades de pointes may be increased.

MANAGEMENT: Patients should be closely monitored for hemodynamic and electrocardiographic evidence of efficacy and toxicity during concomitant administration.
