Norpramin and Tolcapone

Using desipramine together with tolcapone may lead to increased side effects. Contact your doctor if your condition changes. MONITOR: An increased incidence of adverse effects may occur when tolcapone is given together with levodopa/carbidopa and desipramine. The mechanism of the interaction is unknown.

MANAGEMENT: The manufacturer recommends caution if desipramine is given to patients receiving tolcapone and levodopa/carbidopa.
