Omnipred (for the eyes) is a steroid medicine used to treat eye inflammation caused by allergies, severe acne, shingles (herpes zoster), eye injury, chemical burns, or certain other conditions.

• This medicine is not for use in children younger than 18 years of age. The benefits of taking Tuxarin ER (codeine and chlorpheniramine extended-release tablets) for a cough due to allergies, a cold, or other infection do not outweigh the risks in children. If your child has been given Tuxarin ER (codeine and chlorpheniramine extended-release tablets) or if you have any questions, talk with your child's doctor.
