Treatment of hyperkalemia.

Efficacy in decreasing elevated serum potassium concentrations and reducing recurrence of hyperkalemia established in patients with chronic kidney disease receiving drugs that inhibit the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. Efficacy maintained during treatment for up to 1 year.

Not used as an emergency treatment for life-threatening hyperkalemia because of its delayed onset of action.

Zingo is an amide local anesthetic indicated for use on intact skin to provide local analgesia prior to venipuncture or peripheral intravenous cannulation in children 3-18 years of age.

Important Limitations:

Zingo is a sterile, single-use, powder intradermal injection system containing 0.5 mg lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate.

Zingo utilizes a helium-powered delivery system.
