A doctor should be consulted to address the issue of joint drug administration.

Consumer:

Using pergolide and perindopril together can lower your blood pressure. This can cause a slow heartbeat, headaches, dizziness, or feeling like you might pass out. If you take both medications together, tell your doctor if you have any of these symptoms. You may need a dose adjustment or need your blood pressure checked more often if you take both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Professional:

MONITOR: One patient, whose hypertension had been treated with lisinopril for three years, experienced a severe hypotensive episode after receiving a 0.05 mg dose of pergolide. The mechanism is unknown and causality has not been clearly established.

MANAGEMENT: It is recommended that the clinician use caution when initiating pergolide therapy in patients who are receiving angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors. Dose adjustments may be required.
