Pifeltro and Prograf (Tacrolimus Injection)
Determining the interaction of Pifeltro and Prograf (Tacrolimus Injection) and the possibility of their joint administration.
In the database of official manuals used in the service creation an interaction registered by statistical results of studies was found, which can either lead to negative consequences for the patient health or strengthen a mutual positive effect. A doctor should be consulted to address the issue of joint drug administration.
Consumer:Consumer information for this minor interaction is not currently available. Some minor drug interactions may not be clinically relevant in all patients. Minor drug interactions do not usually cause harm or require a change in therapy. However, your healthcare provider can determine if adjustments to your medications are needed.
Professional:Coadministration with doravirine may decrease the plasma concentrations and therapeutic effects of drugs that are metabolized by CYP450 3A4, particularly sensitive CYP450 3A4 substrates such as sirolimus and tacrolimus. Doravirine may be a weak inducer of CYP450 3A4. Until more information is available, caution is advised if doravirine is used concomitantly with drugs that are sensitive substrates of CYP450 3A4, particularly those with a narrow therapeutic range. Dosage adjustments as well as clinical and laboratory monitoring may be appropriate for some drugs whenever doravirine is added to or withdrawn from therapy.
