Consumer:

Consumer information for this minor interaction is not currently available. Some minor drug interactions may not be clinically relevant in all patients. Minor drug interactions do not usually cause harm or require a change in therapy. However, your healthcare provider can determine if adjustments to your medications are needed.

Professional:

Limited data indicate that addition of pilocarpine to levobunolol eye drops significantly decreases ocular absorption of levobunolol. The ocular absorption of levobunolol is pH-dependent, and pilocarpine significantly buffers levobunolol ophthalmic solutions. At acidic pH, the ocular absorption of levobunolol in the presence of pilocarpine may be enhanced by the use of sulfosuccinates.
