Prednisolone provides relief for inflamed areas of the body. It is used to treat a number of different conditions, such as inflammation (swelling), severe allergies, adrenal problems, arthritis, asthma, blood or bone marrow problems, eye or vision problems, lupus, skin conditions, kidney problems, ulcerative colitis, and flare-ups of multiple sclerosis. Von Willebrand factor is a naturally occurring protein in the blood that helps blood to clot. People with an inherited blood-clotting disorder called von Willebrand disease do not have enough of this protein in their blood. A lack of von Willebrand factor can cause uncontrolled bleeding.

Von Willebrand factor is used to control bleeding episodes in adults with von Willebrand disease.
