Increased risk of hypotension and conduction disturbances may result. The mechanism may be reduced hepatic clearance.

MANAGEMENT: If these agents must be used concomitantly, close monitoring for altered efficacy and safety is recommended. Dose adjustments may be required. Patients should be advised to notify their physician if they experience headaches, syncope, or slow heartbeats.
