Quartette is a combination drug that contains female hormones that prevent ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary). Quartette also causes changes in your cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.

Quartette is used as contraception to prevent pregnancy.

Ustekinumab injection is used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in patients who may benefit from receiving phototherapy (ultraviolet light treatment) or other treatments. Ustekinumab may be used alone or in combination with methotrexate to treat active psoriatic arthritis.

Ustekinumab injection is also used to treat moderate to severely active Crohn's disease in adult patients who have already received other medicines (eg, corticosteroids, azathioprine, 6-mercaptopurine, methotrexate) but did not work well or were not well-tolerated.
