Roweepra and Treximet

Roweepra is used to treat partial onset seizures in adults and children who are at least 1 month old. The Spritam brand of Roweepra is not for use in children younger than 4 years old or children who weigh less than 44 pounds.

Roweepra is also used to treat tonic-clonic seizures in people who are at least 6 years old, and myoclonic seizures in people who are at least 12 years old.

Roweepra may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

• Other Brand Names: Treximet

Treximet is a tablet containing a combination of sumatriptan and naproxen. Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Sumatriptan is a migraine headache medicine.

Treximet is used to treat migraine headaches. This medicine will only treat a headache that has already begun. It will not prevent headaches or reduce the number of attacks.

Treximet should not be used to treat cluster headaches or any headache that causes loss of movement on one side of your body.
