Stay Awake and Thioguanine Tabloid

Caffeine tablets are used as an alertness aid to help you keep awake when you experience drowsiness or unusual tiredness or weakness. Do not use this medicine as substitute for sleep.

Caffeine oral solution is used to treat short-term apnea of prematurity when premature babies (infants between 28 and 32 weeks gestational age) stop breathing. Apnea of prematurity is caused by the baby's breathing centers not being fully developed.

This medicine is available with or without your doctor's prescription.

Remission induction (in combination with other antineoplastic agents) in acute myeloid (myelogenous, nonlymphocytic) leukemia (AML, ANLL).

Has been used with other antineoplastic agents in regimens of consolidation therapy for AML following induction of a complete remission; optimal regimen of such therapy in prolonging remissions remains to be established but is typically administered short-term.

Not recommended for maintenance or long-term continuous therapy. (See Hepatic Effects under Cautions.)
