Technetium Tc 99m oxidronate injection is a radiopharmaceutical. Radiopharmaceuticals are radioactive agents, which may be used to find and treat certain diseases or to study the function of the body's organs.

Technetium Tc 99m oxidronate injection is used to help your doctor see an image of your bones to help diagnose bone problems.

Technetium tc 99m oxidronate is to be given only by or under the direct supervision of a doctor with specialized training in nuclear medicine.

Trexall interferes with the growth of certain cells of the body, especially cells that reproduce quickly, such as cancer cells, bone marrow cells, and skin cells.

Trexall is used to treat certain types of cancer of the breast, skin, head and neck, or lung. This medicine is also used to treat severe psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Trexall is usually given after other medications have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms.
