Trientine is a chelating (KEE-late-ing) agent. A chelating agent works by removing a heavy metal (such as lead, mercury, or copper) from the blood.

Wilson's disease is a genetic metabolic defect that causes excess copper to build up in the body.

Trientine is used to treat this inherited condition in people who cannot take penicillamine.

Ustekinumab is used to treat plaque psoriasis in adults and children who are at least 12 years old. Ustekinumab is also used to treat psoriatic arthritis in adults, and is sometimes given with another medicine called methotrexate.

Ustekinumab is also used in adults to treat moderately to severely active Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
