Ustekinumab injection is used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in patients who may benefit from receiving phototherapy (ultraviolet light treatment) or other treatments. Ustekinumab may be used alone or in combination with methotrexate to treat active psoriatic arthritis.

Ustekinumab injection is also used to treat moderate to severely active Crohn's disease in adult patients who have already received other medicines (eg, corticosteroids, azathioprine, 6-mercaptopurine, methotrexate) but did not work well or were not well-tolerated.

Ustekinumab is available only with your doctor's prescription.

Viekira XR (Viekira) is a combination antiviral medicine used to treat chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) in adults. Viekira is sometimes given in combination with another antiviral medicine called ribavirin.

Viekira treats specific genotypes of hepatitis C, and only in certain people. Use only the medications prescribed for you. Do not share your medicine with other people.

Viekira is sometimes used in people who also have HIV. Viekira XR is not a treatment for HIV or AIDS.
